In what was a busy day, Year 5/6 and 3/4/5 were visited by storyteller David Pitt, 'The Crowman' while Year 1/2 were treated to a session held by Godly Plays.

Godly Plays came to talk to Year 1/2 about a story from the Bible.

This was what Year 1/2 remembered about the story.

The man was scattering the seeds and some fell on the path which the birds ate, some landed in the thorns and these were strangled. Some fell on the stones and didn't grow but eventually they landed on the earth and started to grow. The seeds grew into wheat which they made into bread and they all had a feast. He then sold some of his wheat.
Year 1/2

Storyteller David Pitt split his day between working with Year 5/6 in the morning and Yesr 3/4/5 in the afternoon. The Year 5/6's took ball pool balls, wooden sticks and coloured card, combined with a variety of decorative materials and were taught how to make a fantastic model.

Year 3/4/5 were given the opportunity to work with The Crowman to make masks out of card, poles and decorative materials.
